Wire rope was kinked, crushed and unsafe to use. Winch ratchet poorly made and began slipping when lifting 200 pounds to within 2 feet of pulley. Replace those and it's good to go. That's what I did. One had holes drilled off center on the vertical pole so it has to mounted crooked. Within a few months the cap screw on the hydraulic cracked and the fluid gushed out under pressure. Now have to replace.
