Rated 5 out of 5 by Beaux Great Product. Makes Life Easy Recently I purchased a Vestil Winch Operated Truck Jib Crane Model-WTJ-2. This product is as great as it looks. I lift heavy items on a daily basis, weighing any where from 300 pounds to over 1, 000 pounds; and this crane lifts the items with no problem. The winch that comes with the crane is a little tricky at first, but once you get the hang of how it works it does fine. I will be recommending this product to all my friends and co workers. Rated 4 out of 5 by oldizz Decent Crane for the price. This has turned out to be a decent crane for the price. I've used it for lifting car engines, transmissions, and residential heat pumps, etc.. It only gets 4 stars as It does not come with a backing plate. Installation and operation is easy. It is hard to swivel or turn with too heavy a load. You will need to consider reinforcing the platform which you attach it to. A regular truck bed's thin steel will bend and flex too much to use the cranes full weight capacity. The crane is easily removed from it's base when not being used. February 23, 2010
